Vendor's Notes: Black type producing mare from a deep family of black type performers. Dam of the ever consistent DARAMETHOS, multiple Listed winner and Group 2 and Group 3 placed. The son of SEA THE STARS was a winner again at Meydan in December and was most recently second at Jebel Ali on 1 February 2025. Her two-year-old by Champion 2YO Sire WOOTTON BASSETT is in training with leading French trainer Andre Fabre.

DARK ORCHID is a half-sister to Listed placed duo ORCHID STAR and OUR GOLDEN ONE. Her half-brother by ZARAK realised 110,000 guineas at the 2024 Tattersalls October Book 1 Yearling Sale when purchased by Alex Elliott.
